Privacy Policy

Design by Teena (“Design by Teena”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is a sole proprietorship based in India and Udyam-registered (Government of India). We provide web design, brand identity, and Google Business Profile management services to small businesses, primarily across India.

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, you can reach us at agency@designbyteena.com.

Information you provide to us

When you contact us or sign up for a service, you may share your name, business name, phone number, email address, and any details about your business that are relevant to the work — for example, your service categories, hours, photos, or written content.

Information from Google APIs

For our Google Business Profile management service, you may grant us manager-level access to your Google Business Profile through Google's standard consent flow. With your permission, we access information such as:

• Business profile data (name, address, hours, categories, attributes, services)
• Reviews left on your profile and your replies to them
• Photos and videos uploaded to your profile
• Posts and updates you have published
• Performance insights (search queries, calls, direction requests, photo views)

We only access this data to perform the services you have asked us to perform.

Website analytics

We use Google Tag Manager and aggregated analytics on this website to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). This data is not used to identify individual visitors and is not connected to client accounts.

• To provide and operate our Google Business Profile management and design services
• To communicate with you about your project, send updates, and respond to questions
• To prepare monthly reports and insights on your profile's performance
• To improve our services and the quality of work we produce for our clients
• To comply with legal obligations that apply to us

Design by Teena's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In practical terms: data accessed through Google APIs is used only to provide and improve the user-facing features of our Google Business Profile management service. We do not sell this data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not allow humans to read it except where you have given us explicit consent, where it is necessary for security or support, or where we are legally required to do so.

We do not sell client data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes. We may share information only in these cases:

• Service providers: trusted tools that help us run the business (e.g. email, file storage, accounting), bound by their own privacy and security obligations.
• With your consent: when you explicitly ask us to share information with someone — for example, your accountant or another vendor.
• Legal requirements: when we are required to disclose information by a valid legal process or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

We retain client information for as long as we are providing services to you, and for a reasonable period after that for accounting, tax, and legal record-keeping purposes (typically up to seven years, as required under Indian law).

When our engagement ends, you may ask us to delete client materials we hold about your business that are not required to be retained by law. Access to your Google Business Profile is removed as soon as the engagement ends, or sooner if you revoke it.

You can, at any time:

• Revoke our access to your Google Business Profile from your Google Account permissions
• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to any legal retention requirements
• Withdraw consent for any optional processing

To exercise any of these rights, email agency@designbyteena.com. We respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe.

We take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect the information we hold — including access controls on our internal tools, encrypted storage, and strong account authentication. No system is perfectly secure, so we will let you know promptly if we ever become aware of an incident that materially affects your data.

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of the page, and for material changes we will notify active clients by email before the change takes effect.

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this policy are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rajasthan, India.
